EVERYONE DESERVES A CHANCE FOR BETTER HEALTH AND A MORE VIBRANT LIFE
The Foundation for Fighting Fatal Infection + the Urocycler Story
We are funded by members and people like you. We are independent of any political ideology, economic interest or religion. No situation is beyond hope.
Few would have predicted when we started that the Foundation Fighting Fatal Infection would've helped over 40,000 patients.
Our mission emphasizes working with the Wounded Warrior Project, Disabled American Veterans, Wounded Airmen, Doctors without Borders, St. Jude’s Hospital, and organizations working to rehabilitate quadriplegics.
We care about veterans who have dedicated their lives to protect our nation, our freedoms, and our way of life. We owe a debt of gratitude to their selfless volunteering!
If they are injured during service, veterans deserve excellent medical care and long-term help and support. Unfortunately, a veteran must sometimes wait for an unreasonably long time to get the help that is needed. Occasionally, the benefits are only provided for a short period of time when a longer time length is needed for healing. In other instances, there is no effective
The Foundation Fighting Fatal Infection and Disease is constantly looking for cutting edge treatments that may not be mainstream yet. We are aware of a few modalities that make lie much more normal for injured battle returnees and for others who have certain chronic challenges.
You can change the world by joining us in our quest to initiate medical breakthrough and better standard of patient care!
We're proud partners of the Wounded Warrior
Project, Disabled American Veterans, and Wounded Airmen.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Life itself is the most precious gift we will ever receive and be blessed with! Some people are deprived of even the most basic life activities like eating out, attending social events, and even the ability to work.
For some, it could lead to death.
An estimated 13,000 deaths (mortality rate 2.3%) are attributed to UTIs annually in the United States. UTIs are the fourth most common type of Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI) in the United States. 13% of HAIs reported, comprising an estimated 93,300 infections annually.
Outraged by the suffering of close family and friends, Dr. David E. Flinchbaugh founded The Foundation Fighting Fatal Infections and Disease as an answer to indwelling urinary catheter challenges, so patients can finally get their life back.
This inspiring moment didn't just give birth to an extraordinary movement, it is the start of extraordinary healthcare.
Motivated by the belief that an injured veteran - and anyone using urinary catherers - should have access to a solution, Dr. Flinchbaugh innovated the UroCycler.
The UroCycler has helped restore personal dignity and a near normal lifestyle for thousands of patients. And it can help prevent urinary tract infection in millions of more patients, but we need your help.
With your support, we will be able to purchase and donate UroCyclers to veternas and other patients who need one, regarless of their ability to pay for the device.
We were born to make a change in this world. Join us today and get your voice heard.
